Valley alternatives matter when LinkedIn outbound is only one motion and the seat price is doing too much work. Valley, at joinvalley.co, is an AI outbound platform: prospecting, qualification, research and personalised LinkedIn messages, with email included from the higher plans. It is not valley.town, which is a different product.
TWL’s core product is one connected system of tools. TWL Reach is the email and LinkedIn tool inside it. A controllable AI SDR on TWL is an agent you supervise, constrain and approve, not a seat that sends because sending is in the plan. I founded TWL. The bias is disclosed. Valley’s figures below were read on 23 October 2026 from Valley’s pricing page, which itself said prices were updated on 19 October 2026. This article does not repeat Valley’s customer counts or reply-rate claims. The head-to-head is Valley vs TWL.
The short list#
| Alternative | Best for | Channel shape |
|---|---|---|
| TWL Reach | Signal to email and LinkedIn inside one stack | Both channels, with the source on the record |
| HeyReach | Many LinkedIn senders, especially agencies | LinkedIn sender pricing. Confirm email before you assume it |
| Expandi | A cloud LinkedIn seat with email steps | Connection requests, messages and email follow-ups |
| lemlist | Team-operated outbound plus a database and warm-up | Email, then multichannel including LinkedIn |
| Clay | Building the list and the enrichment yourself | A table, with email via Clay or an integration |
What Valley published#
Starter was $199 per seat per month billed monthly, or $149 per seat per month billed quarterly ($447 every three months), and was described as LinkedIn only. Plus was $299 per seat per month billed monthly, or $249 per seat per month billed quarterly ($747 every three months), with 1,000 email messages a month. Growth was $499 per seat per month billed monthly, or $419 per seat per month billed quarterly ($1,257 every three months), also with 1,000 emails and $300 in extra credits. Scale was custom from five seats. Done-for-you was listed at $1,499 a month. Email on Starter was an add-on. A 7-day trial required a payment method. Drafts can be reviewed before they go out, according to the FAQ. Finding prospects and verifying email use credits. Base research and LinkedIn sending were described as included.
1. TWL#
Choose TWL when the reason to write is a signal, the sequence is email and LinkedIn, and the agent has to live under the same permissions as the team. That is signal-based prospecting on the stack: find people because they did something, qualify them, then let TWL Reach draft. Add capacity without adding headcount only after those constraints exist. You do not get Valley’s per-seat packaging, and you should not pretend the products are the same SKU.
2. HeyReach#
HeyReach is the alternative when the problem is LinkedIn sender infrastructure. On 23 October 2026 Growth was $79 per LinkedIn sender per month billed monthly, Agency was from $999 per month for 25 senders billed monthly, and Unlimited was a flat $2,999 per month billed monthly. The flat-fee headline matches Unlimited. Read HeyReach vs TWL Reach.
3. Expandi#
Expandi listed Business at $99 a month, with $79 also shown for the annual discount, on 23 October 2026. It is a LinkedIn automation seat that can include email follow-ups. It also markets campaign types that bypass outreach limits. TWL does not publish bypass steps. If that is the appeal, Expandi is the product having that conversation, not TWL.
4. lemlist#
lemlist fits a team that wants warm-up, a large contact database and a sequencer they operate. TWL does not warm inboxes. If that feature is the purchase, lemlist is the honest alternative to Valley’s email add-on, not a forced move to TWL.
5. Clay#
Clay fits the operator who would rather assemble enrichment and signals in a table than buy a seat that sends. On 23 October 2026 Launch started at $167/mo billed annually, or $185/mo billed monthly. It is “Clay without the complexity” only as a brief. If you want the complexity, stay. If you want the system, look at TWL.
Which should you choose?#
- Choose Valley when a per-seat LinkedIn product, with email on Plus or Growth, matches how you buy.
- Choose TWL when the sender should be TWL Reach inside one connected system.
- Choose HeyReach or Expandi when LinkedIn account infrastructure is the job.
- Choose lemlist when warm-up and a database matter.
- Choose Clay when the table is the point.
Frequently asked questions#
Are Valley competitors only LinkedIn tools?#
No. Valley competitors in this list include senders and systems. The useful split is whether you are buying a seat or a stack. Alternatives to Valley that are only another LinkedIn button will disappoint if the real gap is data and approvals.
Is $149 the monthly price?#
It is the quarterly billing figure Valley printed for Starter. The monthly figure printed beside it was $199. Quote both, and recheck joinvalley.co/pricing.
Does TWL send LinkedIn messages without review?#
The setup this site recommends is draft and approve. You can loosen it later. Valley’s FAQ also says you can review drafts. Compare the default you would actually run.
Where are the sequences?#
In the playbooks. They are examples with placeholders, not Valley’s plays and not customer stories.
