When to run this play
Run this when a live post matches a role family you or your client can help, and you can name a person who owns the hire or the function. Recruiting agencies, GTM agencies and vendors whose buyer writes job posts all use a version of it.
Qualify before anyone writes
- The listing URL still resolves and the title still matches.
- The role family is one you chose on purpose, not a keyword accident.
- You know which desk, product or service the post maps to.
- You have not contacted the company about the same role this month.
Sample sequence
Example TWL Reach sequence for planning. It is not a customer result, a script to paste, or permission to contact someone you have no business contacting.
- Day 0 · Email. Subject includes the title. Body quotes one real requirement and asks if the search is open and in-house.
- Day 2 · LinkedIn. To the hiring manager or talent owner, citing the same post. No candidate attachment and no claim you have a shortlist.
- Day 6 · Email. The workflow re-checks the URL. If the post is gone, the step is cancelled and the record is updated. If it is live, add one observation from the requirements.
- Day 11 · Stop. A close-the-loop note. Do not restart the sequence under a new subject for the same role.
Keep the agent controllable
The agent can watch listings and draft. It cannot promise candidates, SLAs or a time-to-fill. Those claims stay out of the template.
Separate client niches so a recruiting desk and a software offer never share a voice or a sending account.

Questions people ask
What if several roles are open?
One company record, several listings. One sequence to the right owner, mentioning the cluster only if that is honest.
Should recruiters and software vendors share this play?
They share the gate, not the words. The recruiting industry page and the SaaS page show the different questions.
How often should the URL be checked?
Before the first send and before any step after day two. A dead link means stop.
Where is the signal page?
Job postings as buying signals. Read that before you edit this sequence.
