What this signal is
A job-posting signal is a live listing that matches a role family you can help with: the user of your product, the buyer, or the team a client recruits for. The listing URL, the title and the date are the record. A company name without the post is not the signal.
Reposts, first-time roles and roles that name a tool or a pain are different strengths. Mark which one you found.
Why it is worth a look
Hiring is a budget and a priority that someone was willing to publish. It still might be an in-house build, a backfill, or a role that does not match your offer. Qualification is the product, not the scrape.
For agencies and recruiting firms this signal is often the whole motion. For a software company it is one input beside engagement or a stack change.
How a TWL workflow captures it
Point TWL at the boards and career pages you are allowed to read. Workflows keep a single company row when several roles appear, and they attach every listing underneath it.
The agent summarises the post into the fit note. A person checks that the summary is not a slogan. TWL Reach uses the summary only after approval. The job-posting playbook shows the sequence.
Example TWL Reach message
Illustrative draft. Replace the brackets with the source you actually captured. Do not send it as-is, and do not invent a detail the source does not contain.

Questions people ask
What if the job post closes?
Stop the sequence and update the record. A closed role is not a lead. The workflow should re-check the URL before a later step sends.
Who should receive the note?
The hiring manager or the function owner when you can identify them from public pages. A generic careers inbox is a last resort, not the plan.
Is hiring intent the same as buying intent?
No. Hiring shows a gap. Buying is a later decision. Say what you know.
Which teams use this most?
Recruiting agencies, GTM agencies and any vendor whose buyer is visible in a job description. The industry pages show the variations.
