What this signal is
Competitor LinkedIn engagement means a person reacted to, commented on, or otherwise took part in a post from a rival, an adjacent vendor, or a category expert your buyers already follow. The useful object is the person plus the post plus the words they used.
A like with no text is a thin signal. A comment that describes a problem is a stronger one. Record which you captured. Signal-based prospecting fails when every interaction is labelled intent.
Why it is worth a look
The person was in a conversation about a problem you might solve, at a time you can still see the post. That beats a static list of titles. It does not prove budget, authority or that they dislike the competitor.
Stack it with ICP fit and a second fact, such as the role or a recent hire, before TWL Reach writes. Read signal stacking if one interaction is all you have.
How a TWL workflow captures it
TWL Signals watches the sources you name and keeps the post with the person. Tables store the company, the fit note and the URL. Workflows drop duplicates and rows with no source.
An agent can collect and draft. It should not send until the approval you set. Stealth Browser can open public pages when there is no API. Use access you are allowed to use. This page does not explain how to export LinkedIn against its rules.
Example TWL Reach message
Illustrative draft. Replace the brackets with the source you actually captured. Do not send it as-is, and do not invent a detail the source does not contain.

Questions people ask
Is a like enough to email someone?
Treat a like as a weak clue. Prefer a comment you can paraphrase. If you write from a like, say that a reaction is all you saw.
Should the first line mention the competitor?
Mention the post and the point they made. Naming the rival is fine when it is how they will recognise the thread. Attacking the rival is not required.
Does TWL store the post text?
The workflow should keep the source link and the context you need to defend the message. Do not keep more personal data than that workflow needs.
Which sequence comes next?
The competitor engagement playbook is the sample TWL Reach sequence. It is an example, not a result.
