What this signal is
A keyword-post signal is a public post, comment or thread that uses the language of the problem you solve. The keyword is the net. The post is the evidence. A keyword match with no readable context is a search result, not a lead.
This is distinct from competitor engagement. Here the person is talking about the problem, not necessarily about a rival’s brand.
Why it is worth a look
You get message language you did not have to invent, and a reason to write that the reader can recognise. You also get false positives: people joking, hiring, or complaining about a different layer of the stack.
Qualification asks whether this person, at this company, in this role, is in the market you serve. The post does not answer that alone.
How a TWL workflow captures it
Define a small keyword set per niche and review the rejects. TWL stores the excerpt and the URL. Workflows can require a company match before TWL Reach is allowed to draft.
The keyword-post playbook is the sequence. It tells the writer to paraphrase, not to quote a paragraph of someone’s post back at them.
Example TWL Reach message
Illustrative draft. Replace the brackets with the source you actually captured. Do not send it as-is, and do not invent a detail the source does not contain.

Questions people ask
How many keywords should we track?
Fewer than you want. A short list you review beats a wide list that trains the team to ignore the queue.
Can we quote the post?
A short paraphrase is safer and more human. If you quote, keep it short and accurate. Do not surprise someone with a private-feeling line in a cold email if the post was casual.
Is this social listening?
It is a slice of it, aimed at prospecting rather than brand measurement. Trigify used to be a dedicated product in this neighbourhood. Its standalone platform is being retired. See that comparison before you plan around it.
What does the agent do?
It can classify the post against your rules and draft. A person approves the keyword list and the first sends.
