What this signal is
A funding-round signal is a public announcement that a company raised. The useful fields are the company, the stage if it was published, the date, the source URL, and what the company said the money is for.
TWL does not claim a private funding feed on this page. If you cannot point at a public source, you do not have this signal yet. Browser research and the sources you connect are how a workflow sees an announcement.
Why it is worth a look
A round often precedes hiring, a new market, or a tool decision. It also triggers a pile of generic email. Specificity is the only way through: the sentence in the announcement that matches your offer.
Stack the round with a job post or a leadership change. One announcement plus a title guess is how funding outreach gets its bad name.
How a TWL workflow captures it
Workflows store the announcement, then look for a second public fact before a row becomes ready for TWL Reach. The agent can do the second look. The rule can refuse to draft until the second fact exists.
The funding-round playbook is the sample sequence, including the instruction to stop when you only have the dollar amount.
Example TWL Reach message
Illustrative draft. Replace the brackets with the source you actually captured. Do not send it as-is, and do not invent a detail the source does not contain.

Questions people ask
Should we email every company that raises?
No. Filter to the stage, sector and use of funds you can actually help, then require a second signal.
Where do the round details come from?
From public sources you are allowed to use, stored with a URL. This page does not name a private data partnership.
What do we avoid saying?
Do not invent the amount, the investors or a hiring plan the company did not publish. Do not open with congratulations and a calendar link.
Is there a full sequence?
Yes. The funding-round outreach playbook is the worked example for TWL Reach.
