TWL for SDR teams

Give SDRs a reason to write and a system that will not send past the rule. The agent adds capacity. The manager keeps the constraint.

Why this team looks for signals

An SDR team drowns in two failure modes: a static list with no reason to write, or an “AI SDR” that sends in a voice nobody approved. TWL is the second one’s antidote and the first one’s replacement.

Signals propose the person. Qualification checks fit. TWL Reach drafts email and LinkedIn from the source. A manager sets the accounts, the daily bounds and the approval. That is a controllable AI SDR. It sits on the connected system, so the same rules cover the browser and the data, not only the send.

Signals that matter here

Competitor engagement

Watching: Comments that reveal a job to be done, not silent likes alone.

The SDR’s first line should be impossible to send to the wrong post. Read the signal page.

Champion job changes

Watching: People who bought or used you before, now at a new company.

This is a warm path. Confirm the move before you write as if you are old friends. Read the signal page.

Peer teams hiring SDRs

Watching: Companies staffing the same motion you run.

Useful for a tool sold to SDR leaders. Useless if you sell something else. Match the offer.

Problem posts

Watching: Operators describing the outbound mess in their own words.

Keyword posts give you language. They do not give you permission to be familiar. Read the signal page.

Sample TWL Reach sequence for an SDR pod

Example TWL Reach sequence. Placeholder copy for planning. Not a customer result, and not a message you should send unchanged.

  1. Research gate. No sequence starts until the record has a source link, a fit note and an owner. The agent can fill those. It cannot skip them.
  2. Day 0 · Email. Three sentences: the signal, the relevant problem, one question. The manager’s blocked phrases are actually blocked.
  3. Day 2 · LinkedIn. A different angle, same source. If the email already bounced or the person replied, the LinkedIn step does not fire.
  4. Day 6 · Email. One new fact or a stop. Do not “bump” with an empty subject.

How the stack holds the work

Add capacity without adding headcount by letting the agent research and draft inside a workflow the pod already trusts. Hiring still matters for conversations. The agent should not be the one on the call unless you have decided that on purpose.

Shared runtime means the SDR, the manager and the agent see the same record. Permissions mean a new hire cannot export the whole table on day one.

Questions people ask

Will the AI SDR email people on its own?

Only if you turn that on. The setup this page describes is draft and approve, with accounts and actions constrained.

Does this replace the SDR?

It replaces repeated research and blank-page writing. It does not replace judgment about fit, or a conversation a person should have.

How is this different from a sequencer?

A sequencer sends steps. TWL Reach sends steps that started as a signal in the same system, with the evidence still visible. See the lemlist and HeyReach comparisons.

What should managers review?

The source, the fit note, the account being used, and the first versions of the copy. After the pattern is stable, review exceptions and a sample, not every comma, if that matches your risk.
